Frequently Asked Questions

The questions buyers ask before a first order, answered with the factory's confirmed figures. Anything not covered here goes to the sales desk as a Pepti-RFQ and is answered in writing.

How to read these answers

Every figure in these answers is one the factory has confirmed: the 100-kit custom minimum, the 50-kit private-label minimum, the 1-kit sample, the typical 15-day custom lead time and the 3–7, 10–14 and 14–18 day catalogue tiers. Nothing here is a fixed promise; each order is confirmed in writing against its specification, and the written quote is the document that governs. Where an answer says "confirmed at RFQ", it means the answer depends on your sequence or configuration and will be given in writing before you pay.

Scope statement

Pepti does not present itself as a cGMP drug-substance (API) manufacturer or CDMO and does not publish a GMP certificate or DMF. Peptides on this site are supplied for research use by qualified B2B buyers. For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.

FAQ

All questions

What is the minimum order for a custom peptide sequence?

100 kits. One kit is 10 lyophilized vials, so the minimum is 1,000 vials of one sequence at one fill per vial. Milligram-scale custom synthesis is not offered on this desk; the MOQ guide explains why the minimum sits there.

What is the minimum for private-label contract manufacturing?

50 kits, which is 500 vials of one catalogue research peptide at one fill, under your label. Each additional compound or fill is a separate line with its own minimum.

Can I order a sample first?

Yes. A sample is 1 kit (10 vials) of a catalogue compound, shipped with its lot certificate. It lets you inspect the vial, the seal, the label and the document set, and send vials for independent testing, before a production order. Custom sequences do not have a sample tier because the synthesis set-up is the production run.

Which compounds are catalogue compounds?

The research peptides Pepti already manufactures and tests. The public COA library at peptioem.com/coa lists them by product, fill and lot code. If the compound and fill you want appear there, it is a catalogue item and private-label manufacturing applies. Anything else is custom synthesis.

Do you publish prices or send a price list?

No. A custom quote depends on sequence length, purity target, fill, kit count and the document set; a private-label quote depends on compound, fill, quantity and labelling scope. Send those details as a Pepti-RFQ and the quote comes back in writing. The pricing-logic guide explains what moves the number.

How long does a custom synthesis order take?

Typically 15 days after the specification is confirmed and payment is received, covering synthesis, purification, analytical checks, lyophilization, fill, labelling, certificate and packing. Long sequences, difficult couplings, higher purity targets and modifications can extend it, and the written quote states the expected lead time for your order. It is a typical figure, not a fixed commitment.

How long does a private-label order take?

One of three standard tiers after specification and payment confirmation: 3–7 days when a lot exists at the fill and the label is settled; 10–14 days when a fill run or a proof round is needed; 14–18 days for larger or multi-line orders or when cartons and inserts are added. The quote names the tier.

When does the lead time start?

At the confirmation of the specification sheet and receipt of payment. Time spent completing the specification, approving a label proof or in courier transit is not part of the lead time. The process page shows each step with its owner.

What documents ship with a lot?

A batch Certificate of Analysis with the lot code, product or sequence name, fill, manufacturing date, test date, retest date, the HPLC purity result, the MS molecular-weight identity result and a conclusion; a lot-coded label; and a packing list with the tracking reference. Further documents are written into the specification before the order is confirmed.

What do the HPLC and MS results prove?

HPLC purity is the main peak's share of UV-absorbing species in the run, as a percentage; it does not measure fill quantity, water or salt. MS confirms that the main species has the mass expected for the sequence; it does not confirm residue order. The quality page covers both in detail.

Where can I see certificates for earlier lots?

At peptioem.com/coa, Pepti's public COA library for catalogue lots. Published HPLC purity across the library is 98.4%–99.8% as of the last review date. Custom-sequence certificates are issued for their own lot codes and are not published.

Can I test a lot independently?

Yes. Send vials to a laboratory of your choosing and compare the result with the lot certificate. Small purity differences between laboratories are normal; the MS mass should agree. Material disagreements go to the sales desk with the lot code and both results.

Is this GMP manufacturing?

No. Custom synthesis and private-label manufacturing here are research use and non-GMP. Pepti does not present itself as a cGMP drug-substance (API) manufacturer or CDMO and does not publish a GMP certificate or DMF. Every lot does carry a batch COA with HPLC purity and MS identity results.

What does "research use only" mean for an order?

Peptides are supplied to qualified B2B buyers for research use. Pepti gives no dosing, protocol or treatment advice, sells nothing to consumers, and declines artwork that presents a research peptide as something else. Buyers confirm that the material and its labelling are permitted in the destination market.

Do you make peptides for cosmetics brands?

Not on this desk. Peptimake covers research-use custom synthesis and private-label manufacturing of research peptides. Pepti handles other business through its other sites.

Who manufactures the peptides and where?

Pepti, at its production site in Guangzhou (operating address: No. 18 Zhenliangyuan 2nd Road, Zhongluotan Town, Baiyun District). Peptimake is Pepti's custom-synthesis and private-label desk, not a trading company.

How are lots shipped?

In insulated cartons with ice packs, by courier, with the tracking reference sent to the buyer together with the document set. Bulk lyophilized powder of catalogue compounds, from 5 g, ships the same way. The buyer supplies a complete consignee and any import references the destination needs.

Can I supply my own label artwork?

Yes; that is what private label means here. Pepti supplies the template dimensions and the fixed elements that stay on the label (compound name, fill, lot code and research-use statement), returns a proof with the lot-code position marked, and prints after you approve it.

What happens if the lot does not match the specification?

Send the lot code, the certificate and your evidence to the sales desk. Confirmed quality issues on a lot are handled under the order terms. The receiving checklist describes what to check and what to record on arrival.

How do I contact the sales desk?

Open a Pepti-RFQ on WhatsApp through the button on any page (account name Pepti Supply, contact Mike), or email contact@peptioem.com with "Pepti-RFQ [peptimake]" in the subject. Details are on the contact page.

Request a quote

Send a Pepti-RFQ for anything not answered here

Open WhatsApp with a pre-filled Pepti-RFQ message, or email the same details. A quote needs the compound or sequence, fill per vial, vial count, labelling and the document set you require.

  1. State the sequence or catalogue compound and the fill per vial.
  2. State the quantity in kits (1 kit = 10 vials) and the destination country.
  3. List the documents you need with the shipment.
